First crack at a Feln deck to test out the new Heron promo card. I originally listed this as an experimental deck, but with just a few small tweaks I've found it plays well enough to be a competitive deck. This deck easily keeps the enemy's void filled with enough cards to trigger multiple uses of Devour, and in one case even successfully won by milling their deck dry. Besides providing cards for Devour, Deathcap helps slow down aggro long enough for Heron to start picking off their units. Heartily recommended if you want to play something other than Recruit.

I missed the promo announcement, but the second I saw Tenacious Heron being played against me, it immediately felt like a very strong card, that should be good in any midrangey Feln deck. The card to compare it with is Darktalon Wyvarch, but Heron is just way better, as it has an extra attack, less influence requirements and has an effect that fights for the board, compared to Darktalon, which has a the milling effect.

Weirdly enough, in this deck I wonder how does the Darktalon compare with Heron?

This card needs to be nerfed already. It's basically the shadow/primal equivalent of riftwasp. There's literally no downside to playing it. It should be like 4 influence, -2/2 and only temporary. This deck completely dicks on all Aggro. It's almost as if it was designed specifically to demeta red aggro.
