Information

The deck revolves around early game aggression with your Empower & Warcry units, unlike slower versions of Warhelm that deploy more control spells and Aegis units.

District Infantry has proven itself to be one of the best early aggression Rakano cards for the current state of the meta, special thanks to @Chriseay for revealing it in his Top.4 Decklist.

Oni Ronin is still pretty stable regardless of what most Rakano players might think. His value is still relatively unmatched when it comes to Turn-1 aggression. Crownwatch Paladin is a safe alternative if you find yourself facing too many control decks.

As always Warhelm is your bread-and-butter; try to save it for Highland Sharpshooter & Hojan, Crownbreaker or you could use it on Red Canyon Smuggler for Turn-4 cheese.

Master-at-Arms is another card revealed by @Chriseay, it has proven itself to be a really high value unit all while aligning with the deck's overall game-plan.

Ornate Katana can be replaced with x2 Vanquisher's Blade unless you really need more removals or if you found yourself consistently matching up against Shadow decks with Vara, Vengeance-Seeker and other large units and void fetchers like Dark Return

Unseen Commando is a viable replacement to Champion of Glory. CoG is still solid and a pretty viable 2-Drop but Unseen Commando has proven itself to be far more superior in wide scale testing. Even though it's 1-drop higher than CoG, it's still much better at reinforcing the deck's overall aggression due to it's +1/+1 buff, and just straight-up wins me more games.

Shugo Standard has been replaced with x2 Fire Sigil. While it's a great power card in and of itself, I found it slightly hurt the deck's aggression due to being depleted. Transmute 5 is a relatively high requirement considering that it's a very aggressive deck that aims to win in under 6 turns. Nevertheless if you found yourself stalling a lot of games feel free to sub it back in.

Crownwatch Standard has been replaced with Bore in the market to have an answer to Avigraft-heavy decks.

Gameplay Tips/Combos

Try to keep your power cards for as long as possible. Saving them for District Infantry & Hojan, Crownbreaker is much better than auto-piloting it.

If you have District Infantry & Oni Ronin at the same hand Turn-1, always play Ronin first. Unless you have a lot of power cards and a good 2/3-Drop unit then in this case Infantry's Empower compensates for Ronin's Warcry.

If you have Hojan, Crownbreaker, Highland Sharpshooter & Warhelm at the same hand in Turn-2. Play Hojan first, end turn then use a power card for a Warhelm charged Sharpshooter & Hojan's empower buff.

Quoting @Paradox "Don't go out of the way to try and save Hojan. It's great if he lives but he is otherwise among your worst units in this deck. Just play him out on turn 2 and if they kill him then your 3 drops and charging units are more likely to live."

chriseay Eternal Version: 1.42.3
Thanks for the shout out in the title :)

I haven't tested the Commando yet, but having played a bunch of the deck I agree this is viable. The addition of a few fliers for psuedo "reach" is interesting, as I find the hardest thing to do sometimes is close out the last few points of damage. I also agree with the removal of the standards, though I might keep one Shugo floating around. It can lead to "combo" finishes in conjunction with a Smuggler, which feels pretty powerful when it happens. Not sure if it's right to include or not.
