Information

Second time that I'm trying to create a deck based on Hunter's Harpoon + Icespear Chucker. Tamarys made me want to try it again (the first version was fun but unplayable...). That second version actually looks OK, not great but OK. I'm currently gold 1 and I do 50% wins.

It's generally safe to play the Icespear and equip it during the next turn. Notice that you should equip only if you have got enough power to play some spells the same turn, to do some stuff before any removal.

Don't be afraid to use the harpoon on another unit. Really powerful with the berserk of Acquisitive Crow.

abby315 Eternal Version: 1.43.0.6161
I replaced Tamarys, who I didn't find useful except on extreme combo scenarios (and then I was usually winning), with Jotun Hurler and it's been really good so far, smoothing out draws against aggro. Snowballs are also great to throw away on Brenn to ramp, and create sweet market value. I highly suggest the swap!

Thanks for the advice :)
I tried Jotun a few months ago, before Hojan was released. It actually truly make sense to consider it again now.
Actually could also consider replacing "jennev marchant" with "howling peak smuggler" (great with snowball).

This is a great kind of deck, in that there are a million ways to go within the shell. Messenger Hawk, Calderan Cradle, Trailblaze, Herald's Song, all good options to take this deck in any kind of direction. Lots of fun so far!

Oh man is this ever hilarious when it goes off, especially if multiple copies of Brenn stick and you happen to have a Harpoon on a Crow. Great deck! I really love how these Promo cards not only open up new archetypes for brewing, but also helps enable older ideas that were just missing some support.

Super fun brew my dude! Cool idea, and absolutely wrecks the more cards you get out. I was thinking about putting a decimate or something in the market so it'll have a strong finishing power. Mana isn't usually a problem with this deck once it gets ramping.

Happy that you're enjoying the deck :). The early game is actually the hard part. You need to set up + control. That's why the deck has been thought mainly for that part. That's actually why I'm currently trying without the curiox in the market. I'm often playing it while I'm already on command. It's only for the show, not for the win. Generally if you are set up the late game is just draw a lot of cards and have a lot of power to play everything. You should so have enough units to do the stuff. But I agree that finishing with decimate is hilarious XD.

I am running something simular, but without Time.
Instead is use cards like end of the barrel and kindle to keep going.

I started with a 2 colors version. I saw that you have published your own version, I will give it a shot :). I will give you my opinion about it in a few days :).
WhoTookMyPie Eternal Version: 1.38
I have assebled your version as well, and i will give it a go. First look is your version is better at controlling early game, mine will dig faster for the combo.
Have fun :-)
bouletpr Eternal Version: 1.38
Yes, the combo can be hard to find with my version.
I tryed yours. It shows some more impressive moments but in globality, it's seems less effective when played in ranked (diamond 3). I think it comes from the fact that you do not play enough threats. When the Icespear is played, the opponent have got at least 1 removal in hand.
I have tried several modifications of your deck. At the end I was running that version : https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/details/GkRB2bD5sMY/icespear-combo-2-colors
WhoTookMyPie Eternal Version: 1.38
True, mine is more an all in version. Manufacture seems a nice addition as it warps and gives blockers.
I like the way your deck keeps control, but while i was playing, i was missing hailstorm, but ok, i got paired against lots of aggro :-)
Keep up the good work and keep this updated!
bouletpr Eternal Version: 1.38
That's true, hailstorm can miss sometimes. When tokens and aggro are massively played you may add some (when I tried it feln-control as everywhere -_-'...). I also tried to play crystallize instead. It avoids to kill your own units and give you 2 turns to attack with crows or crunch.
About the crunch, a small trick that people generally don't use : If the opponent has got 2 3/3 and you have got a torch or any other fast removal, you can attach with the crunch and use the removal during the attack. In most of cases the opponent will block only with 1 3/3. The overwhelm will so give you the damages and the infiltrate.
Good continuation ;)
Tapwhater Eternal Version: 1.38
I love it! runs decently well, hopefully more support will come in the future!
