The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I've run a similar list and cards that I play that are missing here are Amaran Stinger, Vara, and Secret Passage. Is there a reason for these omissions other than space? Even with the nerf Vara seems better than Albon.
50%+ percent of my game i never get access to shadow and end up with atleast 2+ cards in hand that are unplayable. Only 4 sources of shadow, and 4 diplo seals seems to not be enough. Deck plays well enough when i gat access to shadow.
Well, seeing as we are playing one of the wildest and most difficult powerbases in the world because we want TTPS on 2 and TTPPS on 4, things can happen sometimes. There are actually 8 shadow sources plus Diplo Seal in the deck. And a big part of it is knowing how to mulligan. If a hand doesn't have a decipherable gameplan or a reasonable curve or correct power, don't be afraid to ship it. Going to 6 is almost always correct over keeping a hand that doesn't play.
It really depends on the scenario. Sometimes you just really need something to die (like an icaria) and screaming him for killer is fine. A lot of times, though, dark return is a workhorse and you can get some insane value off of Albon with it. The deck as a whole really requires reading the situation you're in and what your outs are. Albon helps you play around the opponents hand and also adds a lot of value to the recurrability of all of your units.
Yeah I did just recently see that list. I built this one off the skeleton of MrNoTimeMan's Haunted Post deck from a while back. When Albon was released I knew it would be a good 4 drop beside Cykalis. I strongly believe this deck here could be a strong player in the new meta.
