Longbarrel helps Crimson Firemaw and Memory Dredger make contact -- either through killing the chump blocker or via Overwhelm. For similar reasons, it can make fetching a free Lurking Sanguar much easier.

Shugo Standard is pretty good. I really liked having another option to give overwhelm to a buffed Oni Dragonsmith

I didn't have any Soulfire Drake, so I put in 4 Bait, added 2 more Warhelm and took out two Ripknife Assassin. Fun as a budget variant.
