Information

This deck assumes Rolant joined the rebellion after cutting ties with Dizo and the (presumably evil) Cabal. He apologizes for his Harsh Rule and joins Icaria, Svetya, Sower of Dissent, Jekk (!) and a whole bunch of rebellious Valkyries in the quest to get one’s cost reduced and one’s stats increased. It’s gruesome, to be sure, but a turn 5 9/9 Massive Greatsword, a turn 5 6/6 Starsteel Daisho and other assorted high cost, high reward targets make it worth the effort of trying to get a 2/4 buffed by Valks and then swing with the help of combat tricks, removal and weapons. Again, you will find many one ofs. It’s good against Turn to Seed. Seriously, though: the deck has incredible high roll potential and was fun to build and fun to play. Don’t judge too harshly, feel free to optimize, cut the cards you don’t like, but let me tell you... Warcry 2, cost reduction 2 can be a strong effect. Thanks for your time, be safe wherever you are, be successful in all that you do. <3 Osidan

Why not play Rise to the Challenge or Rujin's Choice? This fixes the inconsistency of one-ofs. I can think of a few clunky units you can cut for them.

Hey mikriv, thanks for your comment. The idea of the expensive cards is that you want the Warcry 2 from Sower of Dissent to hit them, so they also cost less. Like this, you get a turn 6 10/10 Sword of the Sky King or a 5 cost Valkyrie Accuser as a 5/7 Aegis flier who plays a Timidity. If Sower of Dissent stays around and can attack, it can give ridiculous value. Think of 4 warcries on Lavablood Goliath: you get a 5 cost 10/10 Overwhelm who deals 10 overwhelming damage when it enters play. As for your suggestion with tutors: there is consistency as the drops are of similar power level with situational advantages/disadvantages. Tutors are ok, but you usually take a turn off for Rise to the Challenge and Rujin's Choice does cost you a draw step. Also, the whole idea is for warcries to hit something expensive so you don't necessarily need a tutor as it will be on top of the deck, usually drawing quite soon. The most difficult part is getting Sower of Dissent running and then allowing her to attack with combat tricks and weapons. I hope my comments help explaining the deck better to you, if you have any additional comments, go ahead. Have a great day! <3 Osidan

Soo, the one-ofs is just to play around seeds?
Osidan Edited Eternal Version: 20.05.12
No. It’s because I have trouble calling one card best in slot, I like flexibility and diversity. For example, Finest Hour is not strictly better than Reinvigorate, so I run both. Similar situation with Torch and Sear. As for the high end, the cards have different pros and cons - feel free to streamline the selection if that works better for you. Have a great day! <3 Osidan
