I've been trying different combinations of AP since the new cards were released. It's biggest issue by far is the temporal matchup. Without a good draw engine it's too easy for control to out pace you. AP does play a solid game into everything else though.
This version looks like it might have trouble into skycrag? I've been playing 4 alchemist to help off set the aggro issues.
I played some games with this deck and Tavrod was really really bad. He is a vanilla 5/7 for 5 mana... it keeps getting silenced or killed before attacking. In the Aggro/OTK Combo matchup he is too slow and versus Time has no real impact since 5/7 is not so good (WB has 6/7 with the same mana cost)... I feel like Tavrod is not good enough in the current meta...
I have played against him a lot on ladder and he is still a must answer card. Even if his ability misses once, the next one might not. You also have RIP knife pumping random cards in the deck
I run 3x Harsh Rule main, 3x Makto, Lingering Influence over Seek Power, 4x Vanquish and a Blade in the market for the Voidbound effect. There are other minor tweaks but imho the most important thing is harsh rule main. Now the deck has more reset tool vs go-wide time decks (like big combrei) and it feels like a little bit more control.
th 5/7 endurance body is huge, and the draw engine helps you get more gas later on, usually huge vanq blades that you can stick on a lifestealer, or runehammers for removal. also ofc he sometiemes draw another tavrod in which case you probably win

Also, how good is tarvod here? I was thinking about trying a deck like this with makto
And ya, without auric interrogator and inquisitors blade, tarvod seems underwhelming here
