I've been playing the last couple of days with building fun decks. And lo and behold I stumbled upon this fun deck which circles mostly around the
Insatiable Serasaur. Additionally
Copper Conduit or
Timekeeper can also be used but are harder to pull off.
The idea is very simple. As soon as you have
Insatiable Serasaur you play it and you combine it with unblockable (either with
Ghostform or
Secret Passage). The other units are more or less so that you can build board presence.
Other possible play is to bait a bit the opponent by playing some of the other units upfront, especially if your opponent can silent or kill your
Insatiable Serasaur.
Dark Return and
Excavate are there to make sure you can get either a unit or one of the kill spells from your void.
Accelerate combines very good as well, if you have
Copper Conduit or
Timekeeper.
NOTE: You do not need any of the legendaries from the deck. Or you can put any other legendary that can help you to achieve the combo. As I mentioned, those are just a bait until you are able to pull off your combo.
As usual the deck is WIP and can be improved further.
1) Where is your market?
2) These cards that allow you to consume all of your remaining power are not great as they dont leave power free to stop kill spells. Dissociate for example is a highly overlooked card that can literally win you games.
3) These cards that allow you to consume your remaining power for stats aren't great unless you have a lot of power so you should look to add Initiate of the Sands and Trail Maker for the early game and Azindel, the Wayfinder and Invoke the Waystones for the mid to late game (though if you use Invoke then consider putting a Lumen Reclaimer in your market). Doing this could easily allow you to ramp fast and drop cards that are an instant threat.
3) Timekeeper is also a bit meh unless your running a mono colour deck. If your looking for something that costs 4 to replace it then Vara, Vengeance-Seeker is always a strong pick.
4) You might want to consider using more dual coloured lands as only having 6/25 doesnt seem ideal.
5) 17 units in a 75 card deck doesnt seem like enough. I tend to run about that in my relic decks but in normal decks below 30 seems like a risk. I'd be worried about using so few units as you could get stuck after someone kills one or two and then your stuck waiting to draw another unit with a 1 in 4 chance.
6) Why are you running Death Ripple when you dont have any Shifted cards in your deck? Deathstrike is also a bit meh as its very expensive and while it was heavily played when the game first launched there are now many better options.
7) Sandstorm Titan. Arguably the best card in the game. Plus as your deck has no flying units it'd probably be a good idea from stopping your opponent from just ignoring your mobs and hitting you over the top.
These are only suggestions but I hope it helps :)
