I was trying out a new FTJ deck and thought “Man, I really wish I could play Crafty Infiltration in this.”
Fortunately, 4-faction builds are very forgiving thanks to the current power-base, so… I did. This thing rocketed straight up from Diamond 3 to Masters rank 10 in a single evening.
Gameplay-wise, you’ve got 3 themes; evasion, tempo, and relic tricks. Most of the deck flies, which ideally leads to continuous card draw through Masterpiece, and eventually big flying monsters to close out a game.
What you can’t fly over, you can hopefully silence or stun. Your 2-3 cost units aren’t going to be stronger than Patrice, but they’ll have a few turns to swing before she and her friends arrive, and with luck you can disrupt their plans long enough to deal 25.
Lastly, both Veena and Lystia have the ability to double your honey and masterpiece activations, which can be a great way to stretch your resources. If you have both heroes, for example, you could get 2 masterpiece triggers for 1 power on your turn, AND activate it again on the opponent’s turn for 2 more triggers.
Edit: just cracked rank 1. Wasp is probably the best card I’ve ever cut from a deck, but turn 5-6 is just too late for what this deck wants to do. Added Commando as a card that can accelerate the flyer plan, and is fetchable by Crafty Infiltration. As always, I’m open to suggestions on things to improve!
