The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Wouldn’t Ghodan be more relevant in this deck than eclipse dragon since there aren’t really any fast spells? Maybe the evasion is just worth it.... it is a pretty sick card.
I hate and despise Shakedown as a card. Sabotage always hits more relevant things and isn't a free Whispers of the Elders for your opponent. I kept losing games to drawing too many dragons and uncastable Flame Blasts so took one of each out, trying Rhysta as the current filler but I feel there's something better.
Just did a 17-3 (7-1, 5-1, 5-1) streak from ~gold3 into diamond....deck is a darn powerhouse (replaced 1x Blackhall Warleader with 1x Vishni as I hate crafting 4-offs)
1) Why the Nullblade? I haven't seen a lot of reanimator lately. Strikes me as more of a sideboard card.
2) I don't have Blackhall Warleader, but I have to tell you that it seems be a bad top-deck and gets bricked pretty easily, whereas Ripknife Assassin is always good, both offense and defense. What do you say?
I almost exclusively used this list today from bronze 1 to diamond 1 and I must say that I was never sad to draw a Nullblade, it always had a purpose and it hard counters the plethora of shadow decks I encountered (especially Makto which I had encountered over 15 times during the matchups). My opinion about Blackhall Warleader is mixed, I crafted 3 for this deck (replaced 4th with a Vishnu I opened since I detest crafting 4-offs) since Im at 250k shiftstone and well screw it, anyways, while I cant say they were bad since they kinda force opponent to trade even if he wouldnt like to, a Ripknife would be a really good replacement (and a lot cheaper). Also, while I didnt play Vishnu a lot considering its a 1-off in my list, he is a decent flyer that in a worst case scenario will force out a removal, so if someone really wants to craft legendaries I assume a 2/2 split might be better, if for nothing else then to have legendaries from the new set that probably will see play in other decks as well.
3 questions: Why 0 Dark Return, 0 Rhysta and why Fire merchant over the dual merchant? Because you can use Obliterate instead of Flame Blast and maybe another card in the place of Highwayman. Have any shadow card that you think would be good in the market?
Dark Return IMO is a flex slot, and in the meta game i was expecting i wanted access to Highway's and Nullblade alongside the dragon, using up most of my flex slots. I don't think Rhysta is generally a very good card, and this deck has enough high impact units that i don't need to play a sub-par 3 drop in it, and the smuggler not being used was due to wanting a banner in the market, wanting multiple highway main but still wanting one on demand, and nullblade was the only Shadow card i really wanted, and again i wanted multiple main, and thought that the stronger body of the Ixtun would be better.
You just answered that yourself. He doesn't want to be forced to run cards not in his deck, and the stonescar smuggler is actually a worse body than ixtun merchant, so you wouldn't gain anything by doing so. Also you didn't mention that he'd forced to run a non-dual influence or depleted power in the market which can definitely be relevant.
-3 Shakedown
-1 Flame Blast
-1 Eclipse Dragon
+3 Sabotage
+2 Rhysta
