With the last update throwing everything I love into absolute chaos, I needed a new way to hate fun.
The idea here is to keep the board clear -ish- counter spells that put them ahead or set up their win con, keep them from attacking with Forcefield, and eventually winning at some point maybe with Bauble.
Permafrost and Bring Down pair well with Forcefield to hit their fliers, Aerial Battle in the market in case they are playing a flying heavy deck.
We are only running the Primal merchant as a unit, since we wont be attacking with anything to trigger smuggler. I think the market is in a good place but I might make room for Rejection if I see another reanimator.
Card draw, face aegis, build up to 9 power so you can drop Bauble with a counter up ideally. Eilyns Favor hasn't done much so far, so I might swap it out for Unseal. If your opponent is spitting out ground creatures while you have forcefield out, just hope they don't go for Bore, but if they are playing too many, it's okay to wait on Forcefield until you have wiped the board.
Crackling Bauble still largely makes you top deck power, so that is fun.
Edit: It is hard to do much with a low unit count and only one answer to problems for longer games, so I have added Wasteland Broker to put 4 copies of your otherwise dead-in-hand win condition into the deck. Quinn is very interesting and I thought, why not add them? Timidity for endurance units, changed some numbers around to make things fit.
I removed 4 Quinn, Master Tracker for 4 Jarral Ascending. The early body for blocking/ drawing a spell helps early to mid. Jarral also serves as a target for their spells, which is okay. He can die anytime.
I also reduced Experimental Forcefield to 2, included 2 more power and added 4 Steyer's Eyes.
For the Market, I changed Helio Skywinder for a Gravity Rifle. I find it more effective that Helio. 4/8 Weapon that kills flying units and passes through non-flying units has been handy at times. I also changed Turn to Seed to Electrostatic Distortion.
Overall, I like this deck and will continue to use it in Gauntlet matches. Thanks for sharing!
