Feln Control in 2019?! yeah I know..weird. But I just took this deck to masters. While going back and forth in D1 I noticed alot of pledge decks either hooru or 3f and I wondered to myself if feln had what it took to beat these decks along with the various rakano decks I was facing, turns out it can and I think it actually has a spot in the meta.
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker is a must right now if you are playing any sort of shadow deck - it is crucial to remove aegis from the various hooru decks, esp Withstand from Korovyat Palace
Champion of Cunning - I know it seems strange to play a unit with aegis of your own when you play Vara but Champion is just that good - it still buffs your squad and if they kill this then they aint killing your vara (and tbh vara is usually a magnet for removal as soon as you play her)
Desecrate and Honor of Claws are fantastic additions to this deck - Feln's cheap removal is very specific to what it can kill so happy to have Desecrate here while Honor allows you to dig deeper into your deck for your threats while ditching power or kill spells that you can't use.
I'm playing 4 Suffocate because everything i'm playing against has multiple hits (smugglers, maidens, enforcers, hojans, etc)
Right now im playing Annihilate as my other cheap removal over Rindra's Choice because of all the pledge units being mostly single faction.
In Cold Blood is just a fantastic and brutal card against the FJS Smugglars and Hooru decks so im playing 3 you can interchange this with feeding time if you are seeing reanimator/mirrors/xenan recursion.
Black-Sky Harbinger - I love this card - Its another source of life gain, an evasive threat, breaks aegis, deals with go wide strategies (grenadins/praxis tokens), hits sites and relic weapons.
Dizo's office - A kill spell, value engine, and hard to deal with permanent. You don't get to use the lifesteal effect all to often but the site is still great.
[Update- 4/14/19] Looks like a few people made it into the top64 of the ECQ with the deck, with 1 making it all the way to the finals!
