Information

The only reason I wasn't playing Icaria Blue over Armory before was the fact that Quarry was such a good card in the early game, which made you want to play Shadow. Now, we've got access to Strategize as a replacement to that.

Thinking about potentially trying Amilli, Cloudmarshal in the deck, but that might be a bit ambitious with the influence requirements. It's easier to have triple Justice on turn 7 than 5.

So, after playing a few games with this deck, it turns out Strategize with Rise to the Challenge is absolutely bonkers. Early game when you find yourself stuck with a big unit or weapon in your hand, you can play Strategize to put it back in your deck, then draw it at your leisure with Rise to the Challenge.

Saryn Eternal Version: 1.27
I've been playing a few more games, and I've been very unimpressed with Auric Runehammer. It doesn't appear to line up very well with the decks I've been facing on ladder. Either A) People are going really wide with creatures, where Runehammer isn't good. B) People are doing the Praxis ramp stuff with a bunch of units with more health than the Runehammer can deal with. Or C) People are playing Nightfall, which gets rid of Runehammer very easily. It's no longer a tried-and-true 2-for-1.
I'm probably going to keep a single copy in the deck to use with Rise to the Challenge, because a 6 Attack Runehammer can actually remove Sandstorm Titan and Heart of the Vault.
