Kind of inconsistent but really strong once the engine gets going. You use Killer effects like
Predator's Instinct then copy and recur them to control the board. This generally leads to card and.or board advantage since you're effectively recurring or copying 2 cards. Then you can start to turn the corner with
Xenan Obelisk and a bunch of incidental buffs from
Xenan Initiation and
Dark Return.
You want to give
Rindra, the Duskblade,
Blistersting Wasp, or
Ripknife Assassin Killer most of the time. If the unit dies in killer combat you 2-for-1 yourself, so avoid doing that unless you can recur it easily. If you need to give
Ayan, the Abductor it's fine, but not ideal. If you have to give it to
Gorgon Fanatic you are in dire straits my friend.
One of the strongest lines in this deck is trading a small Killer unit for a larger enemy unit then using
Dark Return to bring it back and kill a smaller enemy unit without trading. Usually you can do this on turn 4 if you have the cards.
Another strong line is playing
Mirror Image on a unit with Killer to effectively copy 2 cards. Image is also great with
Haunting Scream. I think there's only space for 2, but it might be better to switch one
Feeding Time for it.
Memory Dredger will generally win you the game if you bring back a Killer unit, People usually prioritize killing it though, so this doesn't happen very often.
Ayan, the Abductor is really good against a wide variety of decks but you need to be careful about how you use it. Generally you don't ever recur it, so you need to figure out if you want the body or the Ultimate more. If you're not sure, try to leave up enough power to Ambush it.
