Been trying this for a week and I want to make it work, but I cannot for the life of me get this to win consistently, even in Silver. I'm a pretty experienced player hitting Diamond when I have the time. Any hints and tips on piloting this?

What would you say are your main challenges when trying the deck? Here are some tips but I can add more based on your experiences. You need overloader to operate and the more the merrier. Find one or more overloaders asap and with them, anything is possible. Playing one overloader and casting multiple bottled insights will quite commonly chain you into the winning pieces. Also, realize based on the matchup what style of comboing off you should be trying for. The turn 5 "kill" is simply overloader, hardiness and machinations. If you are against an aggro deck, you commonly have to combo off t5 with overloader, hardiness and bottled insight. Hopefully you will find enough overloaders and hardiness to keep it up. The cover the storm is specifically in there to buy time vs aggro.

Thanks for your response. I just find it hard to get everything I need. Feels very dependent on pulling the Overloader or Cover against Aggro decks with limited control over doing so. I also get stuck with paintings and seats when they're not optimal, or without enough primal to use Wisdom. Not to mention if the opponent has Shoal, Exploit, any hand disrupt/silencer (entrancer), Dichro or draw punisher (though in fairness this has been rare thus far). I haven't chained Overloader > Hardiness > Bottled Insight maybe ever though (I'm usually desperately wasting Bottled Insight to fix my power or look for Overloader/Storm), so maybe that's the key, keeping hold and just chaining them with a bit of luck, Don't get me wrong I'm winning some games, I just hope to be stomping at like 66% through Silver and Gold and instead I'm at like 25% recently. I will try more chaining and see how it goes!

I totally understand the primal challenges regarding wisdom of the elder. I have actually recently swapped the 4 wisdoms for 4 scheme just because of that reason! And scheme digs 2 cards deeper since most of what we care about is finding overloader anyway. You might be struggling in silver/gold due to there being more aggro decks due to people wanting to quickly climb. When I play my games, I tend to face a good deal of aggro, midrange and control. Aggro is rough, but midrange is quite doable (unless you run into an unfortunate shoal or two which definitely can happen) and control feels like an auto win by being patient, getting to 7 power and finding an overloader.

Also, the main reason I was playing that one copy of cover from the storm was this was an open decklist tournament, so I knew going into mulligans how valuable finding that one copy would be as well as maybe slowing down my aggro opponents just a hair by the threat of the card existing in my list. On ladder, you might not need that one copy and could perhaps play something like another seek power or whatever fun card you would like to include. Try not to be too discouraged when aggro just beats your face in! Try to build toward that overloader/hardiness/insight dream hand when facing aggro and think hard about what card you will realign the stars for because that always seems to change depending on the scenario.

Heya, thanks a lot for the further feedback. It definitely worked better for me with the schemes. I never quite got it humming to the win % I'd like but some of your points about the prevalence of aggro ring true.
EarthsOverseer Eternal Version: 21.07.21
Glad to help! Good luck on ladder if you do keep trying it out. Just made top 32 at the ECQ last weekend where I lost to an aggro deck with this list (with schemes as we discussed). If you do want to discuss more, feel free to hit me up in game or join the TNT discord. EarthsOverseer+1336

How do you actually get the circle from the market?
EarthsOverseer Eternal Version: 21.06.09
There are no reasonable means of getting it out of the market, I threw it in there just because. That and the invasive species are definitely optional as they will likely only be useful in exceptionally rare circumstances. Although you never know when your opponent might gift you a grafter with Jolu... :)
