Information

I was asked to provide this deck for milling the gauntlet. If you can make a better gauntlet mill deck please provide link. I made this deck specifically 150 cards so that it would be difficult to be milled. Once this deck gets going, it's a good shut down deck. I usually don't attack unless health is needed. I tried to design this deck to mill as quickly as possible

Back-Alley Delinquent was not getting any play because of it's requirement to discard a card. I had other cards that did the same thing without me having to throw something away.

Callous Survivalist again sits in my hand at late game when I have other cards that do a better job.

Unexpected Results is nice for looking at all of the spells, however I have been concerned about killing the opponent before acquiring the information that I'm seeking.

I'm going to try out Azindel, Revealed he should make for a good blocker and he allows for milling with 1/1 creatures so as to not kill. However, 8 power is going to be a late game play so not sure just how effective he's going to be.

Eremot, the Gathering Dark should be a good swap for Voprex, the Great Ruin as he'll be a flyer with good health who mills (just what I wanted as an early christmas gift. lol) and he's cheaper by 1.

Panoptic Guardian has been talked about before, I may not miss him too much, I still think DWD would do good to make him while in play instead of on draw, I'll probably make the suggestion.

Feln Bloodcaster again is another one hit wonder, but is cheap and makes for a good blocker while still in the mill works. No tears shed though if I swap him out for better cards.

The lack of Solitude surprises me here.

You also have a lot of 1-ofs and 2-ofs that I don't think really help; Vorprex, for example, doesn't really hit the AI very hard, as they tend to be very power-heavy and don't have much trouble dumping their hand. Panoptic Guardian just isn't very good overall.

I don't think you need literally 75 more cards than the AI deck total, either; there's practically no risk of milling out unless your deck is very draw-heavy.

I'm also surprised by the presence of Mori, but the lack of Seek Power.

There's a lack of Solitude, because I don't currently have one although it's more of a late game card, but for this deck it might not be a bad idea, when I get one I'll try it out.

Voprex, the Great Ruin another late gamer, but has helped me out with flyers; true that by the time I get him out is usually too late as the opponent usually has no cards in hand. However, he's there as part of the mill works. Would love to have another flyer with good health and power that mills.

Panoptic Guardian again is late game really support for Dizo, Cabal Chairman as another blocker. Probably would be used better at last card so that you could see the card without it disappearing and having the game end. He'd be a much better card if it was while in play instead of on draw.

I understand that currently AI decks don't mill, this is just ocd anticipation for future. Lol Plus, it gives me more variety in the deck for which card to mill with. Also, remember I'm not concerned with winning, just milling. I may have to play against the same deck more than once to identify all of the cards. Although, it would be better if you didn't have to.

I didn't specifically pick a mori style deck. I picked cards for milling.

Seek Power, in my years of playing mtg, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, lord of the rings (haha, horrible card game), I don't like cards that you have to pay to gain mana especially 1 mana, it's very counter intuitive. If you have a good ratio of mana to play cards you shouldn't need cards like this. Put it this way, if I draw a mana card I can possibly play another card from my hand. If I draw a draw mana card, now I'm down at least 1 mana, and now have to wait another turn for it to be useful. I might as well have waited 2 turns to get my mana card. To me it really slows down the deck. Now if it got me 2 mana, it would be more beneficial as long as the pay is not too great. Although if you're playing a deck that watches how many spells you play or gives abilities based on playing spells, then by all means play a card like Seek Power, because then I'm powering something up and I'm getting mana. Most of my decks don't have Seek Power cards.
