This is imestr8's Rebuild deck, except with
Binding Agreement replaced with the new promo
Surveying the Rift.
Survey works a lot better compared to Agreement for several reasons. It's cheaper, and you can realistically play it before rebuild to dig for one if you have to. I also found with the deck that the downside of tucking your entire hand is very real in many situations. Having to discard power cards isn't a big downside for the deck, and in some scenarios, it can actually be an upside (it's not rare to have a full hand with lots of power if you get unlucky, which can block more draws). It's also much more consistent, and if anything this deck needs consistent draw cards.
Rush to 4 time and a bunch of fire influence, play
Rebuild, then play a bunch of draw spells to hopefully draw into the revenge Rebuild to snowball from there. Kairos is your main win condition. However, you can still kill your opponent with Incineration after making them draw cards with Wraith of Caiphus or
Reset the Day. Incineration will deal 28 damage if you amplify it three times for a total of 10 power.
Your opening hand is very important. Ideally multiple sources of time influence and some card draw. Having a rebuild in the opening hand isn't top priority, and isn't an instant keep. You have plenty of card draw to dig for it, and if you have it in hand but not enough time influence, you're in trouble.
Don't be afraid to select Time influence for
Grand Builder if you have to. Try to keep a unit in play, even against aggro. You want your banners to come in undepleted, and Kairos works best when he can draw you 2-3 cards upon entry.
Even when not at ridiculous amounts of Fire influence, using Rebuild to draw a bunch of cards can be effective on its own and catapult you to a spot where a future turn can pull off a win.
We have lots of options to get cards back into our deck such as Excavate and
Spindown. If you're desperate, know that
Draconic Looting is a good option to dig far, even if you end up discarding things. Same goes for
Surveying the Rift, except it's even better. Though it's at its best immediately after a
Rebuild, a Survey can dig you 4 cards deeper to your first Rebuild.
This deck isn't really tier 1, but it carried me from the bottom of Diamond to Master in a couple days. Survey really has greased the gears on this one.
