This is the deck I used to get from rank 400 to rank 1. This deck is quite strong. Highwayman is quite strong against aggro and control. The deck has a lot of charge damage so you can win from some pretty tough positions. If you want to rank up fast this deck will do it for you.

You can. Personally I got rid of the drones and added Stonescar Sneak because it's such a dope card. Don't play the Sneak until you have 4 power so you can guarantee at least one ability trigger. Usually it also forces removal so you can play your bigger cards safely later in the game.

I changed this a bit and got to rank 1 as well. I added 4 rapid shots and 2 crests, took away suffocate, 2 favors, drake and 1 of each sigil

I used these changes and am having a lot of fun. I've taken to using Vara's Intervention instead of Favor though; it's cheaper, and the unblockable option has won me a few games against opponents with fat boards. :)

Great deck for the ladder. Total record so far is 13-2. The highwayman is pretty great, only had 3 so I ended up subbing an Impending Doom which was meh.

Edit 1: 6-1 today. Total record so far 19-3.

I managed to get this deck fully built. it's pretty great for sure. one thing i was wondering about, is there a strategy to using the instigator? I like that he's 2 with 3 and 3, but with the grenadin and him i'm getting some damage that i'd rather not take lol. I'm sure i'm missing out on something here tho.
