Information

Move over, Praggro. We're back.

Corrupted Riftborn made this deck possible, and it is a workhorse. Note, however, that two Riftborns will counter the same spell and both get nerfed by it, so it can beneficial to stagger them out if you have options.

Lystia, Winged Lantern is probably the most cuttable card here if you want to brew some more. (This is also good news for budget players, as she's the only Legendary.) She seems like she would be strong, but she's a little slow for what we're trying to do. However, she is a nice removal magnet because of the threat she appears to present.

Other than that, I strongly recommend experiencing this deck as-is before changing it. There are some overlooked cards here that play strong.

Credit to Dashkett for the suggestion of Blurwing Raider. I was all set to auto-include Lipa, Witch of the Woods. But since her attack was nerfed by one, she often comes down as a 2/2, and she feels bad against face aegis. Raider is guaranteed to come down as a 2/2, is easier to cast without double influence, and can grow.

Don't get enamored of anybody's text box except Riftborn and sometimes Grove Supplier. Telia, Yeti, and Guide are all there for their stats. We smash. Face is place. If one of them happens to do something extra, yay, we pour Gatorade on them. For instance, don't draw cards with Telia (giving up three power's worth of tempo) if we still have cards to cast. Put her down on turn two, let her mix it up.

You seem oddly fond of putting three of a card in your deck, when normally it should be four unless there is a good reason to go with less. For example, you have three each of Pyroknight, Raging Jackal, Mischief Yeti and Youngblood Tracker when I think you would be better off going with 4 each of the knight, jackal, and yeti - all of which are, IMO, better than the Tracker. Similarly, I don't think Starlight Guide is that good without some more ways to trigger nightfall. All that being said, Blurwing Raider looks nice and you are using Corrupted Riftborn, which is one of the best promos in a while.

I'll agree it's odd to use a lot of 3-ofs, but it's a conscious decision and I'm very happy with it. If Youngblood Tracker was strictly worse in all situations, of course I would cut it, but it's the only one-drop that can come down with two health, and if it hunts a power, the Advantage is tremendous for this deck. So sometimes it's better. And of course lots of times, they're all equivalent because they just eat removal.

Is there something with better stats than Starlight Guide that I should be playing as a two-drop?
