DWD sickens me. Between the nerfs here and the hit Xenan took, the meta feels similar to what it was before AD came out. They either need to spend more time play testing these new cards, or maybe just ask the advice of one of their top players. Balancing brand new cards is indicative of poor logic in the design process.

The correct answer is "play as many copies as you can before it gets nerfed". This deck absolutely did not need the addition of a broken spell at 2 Mana ... But it got it (note you can still target opponents creatures even if you are locked out).

I'd 2-2 split to make room, but room must be made.

I faced this (or something like it) 4 times during the ECQ. If they drew and played Trickshot Ruffian, they win unless you have fast-spell removal. Even if you have a blocker, just the lifegain is enough to ensure they get to their late game.

It's worth redrawing an opening hand if it doesn't have a fast removal spell.
