First game I tried it and I'd already suggest Strategize. What do I need 7 power for? I need to find my combo pieces. Still won though.

You don't really want strategize in this type of deck simply because you do not have the time to play it. The deck already has one superior strategize effect in quarry, which is enough. Also the only cards you could really think about cutting for a few copies of strategize are bandit queen, vicious highwayman, and champion of fury. All of these cards are the reason to play this version of the haunting scream deck over the other version with torvgod so cutting their numbers seems counter productive.

I like it a lot more then the original ets version powerbase for sure. I am still tinkering with it and I am pretty sure you can get a reasonable base with a few more untapped sources. Playing 4 amethyst waystone is just wrong imo its taxing colors for an effect you don't really care about the vast majority of the time so I started working on it from that viewpoint. I will honestly probably end up with 0 amethyst waystone in the end.
