While the focus of the first five Basics decks is to get people playing with different archetypes on the cheap and simple side, Firestarter is also a fairly solid pauper grind deck, and one I've used in my Master climb on two different occasions. It's linear and won't conquer all of the field, but it's good enough to get there despite some post-Hailstorm blues. I've included a list of substitutions that help with that particular meta - the only FoA pauper card that I've noted is Hotblood Barbarian, which can make a fun swap in for Bladekin. Rare wise, it honestly doesn't need much help, but I have used cards like Obliterate and even Purge the Darkness to extend the decks reach when the control gets too heavy.
