My take on Kira Ascending midrange. Much more consistent and swingy because it's not all in on abusing
Kira Ascending but its high value high efficiency creatures that interact with your opponent.
Velise, Bear Rider is a sort of flex slot but it works amazing with Kira, pumping her up and the other unit you want to grow and Velise makes combat tricky because now your opponent can't chump block. The markets not a typical answers for hard match ups, but value slots for cards on demand and you have plenty of access with
Justice Etchings and
Rime Conclave Smuggler. Performs well with nearly all match ups. The decks you have to fight for wins are explosive aggro decks, empty throne, and suppressor sling. I added
Deafening Word in the market to shut off the niche creatures that give you the most trouble:
Grand Suppressor,
Autotread, and
Cabal Scavenger.
Bring to Justice is a nasty 1 cost removal spell and
Pristine Light removes most worrisome threats at the least, at most is an asymmetrical board wipe and it works well in this build because your cheap threats are easy to recast, more so than higher cost creature based decks that choose to run it.
General Fiera is a great beater and blocker that sometimes wins the game on her own. She and
Korovyat Palace are some of the best cards to play on curve in the colors. Main game plan is bash with dudes and protect them with your spells. Prioritizing Kira to get to the late game with 8 loyalty and make a unit too big to handle. A lot of fun interactions and cheap powerful units. Have fun and provide any feedback.
