i feel initiate is too low impact. it is only ever good in your opening hand and even then it can be mediocre. glooming wisp is my thought of replacements for aggressive 1 drops but there are other options.
I know I considered them all and initiate is still the best since it makes the deck less clunky and faster which is what it needs the most. But you can consider cutting them and a vanquish for 1 sigil and 4 finest hour. that might be decent.
I play your deck around 30 times yesterday. Really good on ladder. A few points:
- Record Keeper is as good as Siraf. I never use the ultimate of Siraf, so in at least half the games, the +1 ATT of Keeper is as good as Siraf's overwhelm. I'm playong 2/2 now
- Jaril seems the least useful card... but his ability won me a game by itself, and there is no other better 2 drop
- I'm not sure about Initiate: a turn 2 Copperhall Elite = quick win, but in many games, the best turn 2 option is Crownwatch Paladin anyway, and the Initiate doesn't push for damage, so a more agressive unit may be as good or better.
I'll continue to test it, thanks again, it's very fun and challenging.
I can agree with most of this except that u mean turn 3 elite ;)
the main point of initiate often is to give u a turn 2 play when u dont have a 2 drop which happens even with 12 and to let u play 4s on turn 3 as well as play 2 spells on turn 3+. you can try replacing thema nd 1 vanquish with a J sigil and 4 finest hour.
sirafs ability doesnt coem up often but it does. i won 1-2 games with it alrdy. but yeah they are close. but i think siraf also dodging vanquish denying aggro tempo plays and control as well as overwhelm with all the weapons and jaril ult made me prefer siraf still even when the ability barely ever comes up.
and yeah jaril is not great just solid and lacking better alternatives. it lets u punch through stalls vs midrange and other aggro so thats nice.

Swapped out a Stand for a Time Sigil 'cause I kept getting stuck between 3 and 4 power. We'll see how it goes!
