Update: 26th of September
Updated the build to the current build I have been using. We now have a little relic removal and while this is at the cost of a little card draw I have found it to be very effective. This alteration was made for PvP so if you are using the deck exclusively for Gauntlet you may wish to leave it as it is.

Update: 3rd of September
So I have been playing this deck in the current expedition event and I'm finding great success. I haven't made any modifications to the list and I will post a screenshot with my final rank later today. I know I say it later but if your a relatively new player who can craft some cards but wants to minimise on campaign usage then try this deck. I use it in Gauntlet, Expedition and Ranked play and it is easily able to do all three.

This deck really is super effective at grinding Gauntlet!

As you can see from my test runs, I won 21 games straight in the MASTER league. This deck is an incredible card draw engine which means even if you get stuffed for power you'll never be in trouble for long.

This deck is also eligible for use in Expedition and Ranked play. I actually ranked to Diamond using a combination of this and my Evenhanded Sentinels deck over the last two weeks.

Anyway, as to how this deck operates, let me explain below.

The win conditions of this deck either rotate around blitzing people down quickly by playing Evenhanded Golem on turn two, following it on turn three with another two drop, a Amber Coin and as many Sand Warrior's as you have. Then drop Xenan Obelisk on turn four to really get the damage in. I've often had games where I start and at the end of my fourth turn my opponent is below half health.

Alternatively we are often able to play high aggro and blast through our opponents with Cykalis, the Burning Sand or counter multiple deck archetypes with Gnash, Desert Prince as playing him is strong removal against flyers and also gains more value the longee the game goes on.

Finally Talir, Who Sees Beyond is our finisher as you can use her to cheat out huge amounts of units. And remember that should you fail to proc the Destiny affect you are able to get another go by using Teleport to return Temple Scribe or Evenhanded Golem to your hand and then simply playing them again.

I hope you all have fun with this deck but if you are new I cannot recommend it enough. Its not the cheapest deck to craft but I have tried to minimize my use of paid campaign cards, and by building this deck you will be able to use it in Guantlet, Ranked & Expedition.

If you have any questions, thoughts or general feedback then please dont hesitate from leaving me a comment below.

Thanks.

That's weird, there is four in my deck. I dunno how it imported without them. Thanks for pointing it out :s

Side note, I got a quest yesterday for a gold chest by winning five games with a time deck. Took this into Expedition and played it for the evening for fun. Won 12 out of 14 games so I gotta say that this deck is still mega relevant and really good! :D

yeah man I'm 1000% on board with the Golem>merchant argument. My build drops all the agression for a more sustain oriented build, but even time has been a go to for me sinse golem was released

Shoogoo Eternal Version: 1.46.9
Any reason why temple standard is not in there?
Hanoth Eternal Version: 1.46.9
Just preference. With the way this deck plays I never feel like I could do with more light removal in Gauntlet. Wouldnt be terrible to switch it up if you want to use it in PvP but I prefer the chump blocker from the Amber Coin vs the AI and you wouldnt want to limit your powerbase or stack depleted power by using both.
Its simple preference though, if your more cautious then feel free to swap them out and let me know how it goes :)

It works wonders to bounce the golem back to your hand. Otherwise I haven't been successful with this deck I'm afraid
Hanoth Edited Eternal Version: 1.46.9
Really? Weird. Maybe your just not comfortable with the deck yet or drew unfortunate cards. I tested it in Gauntlet with the three runs you see above and I won every game. Got power stuffed a few times and still came back to win those too. Think that's given me more confidence in the deck than you may have but if you like the temple standards in your deck and feel you need them then keep them :)

Any replacements for Talir? Only have 1 of them. Not really keen on crafting more, shes so rare in decks now.
Hanoth Eternal Version: 1.46.9
I really do wish you were asking me which other card you could replace :/ as is leave the one you have in as it really is very strong but instead try using Saber-Tooth Prideleader. This deck is already light on instant speed removal and is weak against relics so this could certainly help. Alternatively there is Caiphus, Wandering King is a good pick or Plated Goliath has great value so long as you warp it in. Hope that helps :)
