MTPW - Tayana, the Mender

DWD goofed up and accidentally gave us a really good promo. Shh. Don't tell anyone. Tayana, the Mender doesn't need it's own "Making the Promo Work" column because it fits by its very nature in a lot of relic-based decks, both offensively and defensively. It silences annoyances like Grodov's Burden and Sling of the Chi before they can steamroll you (provided your opponent doesn't have aegis, of course). It recurs your own relics, like Waystone Gate and even helps mitigate the downside of discarding and sacrificing. This card is a solid build-around. Just ask Kasendrith, who put together this Throne list: Greedy Tayayana

For my take, I'm giving Kaspar, Oren of Kosul and Wren, Traditionalist what could be their last hoorah in Expedition, tying them together with Tayana and a boatload of relic synergies.
