This deck is about quickly controlling the board and hand and then slowly beating your opponent down once they've run out of cards. Win cons of the deck include fliers:
Black-Sky Harbinger Kodosh Sees All Regent's Tomb (
Elias, the Broken Wing ) and
Archgryffyn Patriarch . Other win cons include
Outcast Fortress which you can use to constantly curse other minions with -2/-1 with
Zelia, the Vain, and
Tome of Horrors which you can start playing your opponents deck against them.
Both sites are really good for card advantage and possibly gathering more power.
Outcast Fortress can draw a card from your opponents deck which 1/3 of the time is a power card. It can pop aegis on your opponent or give aegis to make burn and control waste a card or two on your site and you. The last mode with
Cruelty can be used as removal, pop aegis on a creature or synergize with
Felrauk's Choice .
Regent's Tomb will draw you a justice sigil which really helps with all the decks double greens. The site protects itself and you with hand disruption using
Sabotage and can give any of your units revenge which is really good on when most units draw you a card, or access your market.
The rest of what holds this deck together is tutoring and... we have a ton. 4x
Parul's Choice and 5 smugglers each with access to win cons and control cards. The point is to at any time have high access to any answer or win con you need. The variety of cards makes it annoying to use
Rain of Frogs and
Vision of Austerity type cards against us as a bonus.
Of all the cards in the deck though,
Felrauk's Choice is my favorite. It's a fast spell that can redirect burn, removal and hand disruption while also being creature removal that brings back your curses.
Royal Decree is really fun too. It's the cheapest universal discard in the game so sometimes you can even use it against aggro to remove a creature in their hand.
The one thing you have to pay attention to with this deck is power and influence. Basically three or four power in hand is required to get the this deck working smoothly and then aggressively scout for power and color fixing for 2P , 2J and then 3S.
Notes:
I included
Black-Sky Harbinger over
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker because it seemed more versatile. Vara in my experience dies way too easily and the lack of flying and stats makes her worse endgame. Also
Black-Sky Harbinger pops only your opponents aegis and instantly heals.
Considering swapping
Azindel's Gift for something else just not sure yet. Other cards I'm considering are
Dizo's Office,
Vara's Favor and
Timidity
