Just another
Partnership Agreement and
Builder's Decree control deck with a few tricks up its sleeve to counter the current meta in Expedition. Let's get into the specifics!
Blueprints for fixing, multiple
Xenan Blueprints because early game is mostly Xenan and I think the Xenan Hierloom is better in late game.
Multiple
Sinister Rumors because it is a very flexible card. Good against other decks running
Builder's Decree.
Vara's Favor to reveal
Azindel, Mastermind before he gets his trigger off. The one damage is also good against
D'Angolo Houndmaster which is ran in almost every fire deck, as well as popping the occasional aegis. The
Shadow Sigil the card provides helps you reach the requirement to play
Gentleman Jun D’Angolo in control matchups. Might consider running multiple copies of
Vara's Favor in the future.
Banish because it is one of my favorite, and possibly one of the best, removal cards.
Vara's Authority is very good against aggro and Feln Control because of the high amount of aegis units
Gentleman Jun D’Angolo is great vs control matchups. Has won me several games, removing 3-5 cards when played on turn 5. Most market cards in Expedition, like
Coveted Gemstone and
Exotic Purchase, has very specific requirements for their marketed cards, so playing this gentleman will remove the cards that don't meet those requirements from the game entierly. I think he is very underrated.
Martyr's Chains in main deck because it has very good synergy with
Partnership Agreement, and you have a lot of cards that gives you sigils.
Amplify
Builder's Decree or
From the Heavens for a lot in the late game to push for the win, but be aware of counterspells. If you do get big sentinels out, and that includes if
Valiant Guardian is pulled from the market, the Combrei Hierloom can help you push through chump blockers.
Power base might need a little tweek.
Suggestions for improvements are welcome, as always. :)
