The deck is pretty self-explanatory. Warhelm + Tavrod is arguably one of the most disgusting combos in the game, so I built a deck around it.
The second best thing about this list is the
Auric Interrogator synergy. With 16 Warcry effects in the deck, the chance of buffing him before he's drawn is pretty high. But even if you don't, you can put a Warhelm or Inquisitor's Blade on him to guarantee his passive ability. Tavrod drawing into him activates it as well.
Unseen Commando works pretty well in this one because all of your units have 2 or more Battle Skills, and the only one who doesn't (Interrogator) gets two with Warhelm (Warcry and Charge), meaning the effect works on him also. Additionally, this trick works on your silenced units.
Vicious Highwayman is a wildcard, you can replace it with anything. Some people might prefer replacing him with Crownwatch Traitor or Impending Doom. You could even replace him with Bloodletter or Valkyrie Enforcer.
I simply use him because I think Vicious Highwayman is one of the best cards in the game, it can single-handedly save you against Aggro matchups or be the final 5 damage reach you need to finish off your opponent. It also synergizes with Wanted Poster and Unseen Commando, making it a nice fit for the deck overall.
I don't think there's much need to explain this deck, but at 5 upvotes I'll make a video guide anyway.
how do you feel about Navani, Warsinger? i figured they were auto-include in helm decks
also how does 4xWanted Poster feel? seems a little narrowly supported with only torch/slay/ripknife's deadly/vicious highwayman's 1 damage and no Auric Runehammers
Navani may work better than highway man.
