Information

Deleph's Awakening is a curious card. At first glance, people thought it would be a Highlander powerhouse, but the most prominent Highlander-style deck (Archmagister's Portal) is completely shut down by its first effect. Its second effect, however, makes it a really good late-game draw engine for the right deck. This deck is a standard FTS sacrifice shell powered by Vox, Nurturing Sadist and his corrupted cultist army. Vox and friends work quickly to fill up the void with fodder, and Deleph's Awakening ensures you don't run out of gas. Each time you play it, you'll add 6 units, 7 spells, and 3 sigils to your deck.

Note: The first ability of Deleph's Awakening triggers for EACH unique card in your deck. Because of this, if you're running a three-color deck you're likely to flood out in the lategame if you're running a powerbase that includes Seats, Vows, and Cylixes. To prevent this, I'm using only sigils in this deck. To help get the influence you need to run smoothly, Desert Alchemist and Destruction Chant will be essential.

Deck:

Combust, Annihilate: Early game removal.
Kindling Carver, Devour, Auralian Supplier: Early-game card drawing.
Kato, Arena Herald, Blightmoth: Corrupted units with great value.
Desert Alchemist, Destruction Chant: Influence fixing.
Display of Destruction: Usually you'll want to get the cultists out of this card, but it occasionally also works as removal.

Market

Crack the Earth: There's a lot of good value 5-cost cards in FTS, so this is our market access.
Grodov's Burden: Essential if you're in Time. Not a ton of value because most of our units are multifaction, but the spellcraft ability is a dreamcrusher.
Induce Madness: In Vox decks, this wrecks go-wide strategies.
Shatterglass Mage: Backbreaker and Edge of Uprising are both prominent threats, and Grodov's Burden is still everywhere in Time markets. This turns them all off.
Dova, the Fearmonger: Another sacrifice payoff.
Pull Into Nightmares: Experimenting with this. Haven't pulled it off yet, but this will hit any unit we need, including Dova.

I've always liked Vox. I've tried to come up with my own brews for him and they just never seem to pan out. I like the use of Deleph's Awakening so I tried to throw it in my own nightmare Vox deck and it just didn't seem to work as well as your deck did. Unfortunately I'm just not getting the consistent wins with it in expedition that I need to tier up. It is a fun deck to play. I seem to be getting better with this deck the more I play it though. It seems that the top market draw for me is the Induce Madness. With as much sacrificing that's going on it can really lock the game down, quick. I've also noticed that I rarely seem to get enough nightmares in my void to get any stat bonus from Vox. Because Induce Madness is such a major component in how I play this deck Aegis on the player when you want to play it kills my strategy every time. I feel I need some way to ping the player. I would love to see this deck include Severin of the dark and the Prized Sow because You can pretty much clear the board by just letting the piercing grief recycle, and the Vox bonus ramps real quick. I tried to include recurring nightmare but I just think that a unit that can't block is too detrimental in trade for 4 unused power early in the game.

Nicely done; this is a really wonky card, but it's nice to see someone trying to put it to work. It's too bad about the power base; maybe this deck could have been decent if Direwolf had left out the copying power part.

Thanks for the feedback.
In a straight Xenan deck, this card duplicates your cylixes and petitions. It might not be so bad there, but a three-color power base isn't so forgiving.
