=== UPDATE ===
Since aggro is an important matchup to beat I added 3 x
Saloon Massacre replacing
Pressing Darkness and one
Mental Image also got to Diamond without much problem.
will post if I make any other relevant changes.
=== Quick Overview ===
Omniscience seems like a sweet card, I had a Feln
Rift's Edge deck laying around and I decided to brew something. Overall I'm pretty happy with the decks power level, it still lets me rank up in throne where I'm currently at Gold, but it could still use some work.
I am most skeptical about
Mental Image, and
Pressing Darkness, they are both mediocre cards early but get insane in the late game with a
Rift's Edge in play.
I could switch out
Mental Image with something better in the early game that isn't too bad late,
Direwood Hymn/
Cull the Deck comes to mind, at the very least running 4 copies might be too much.
Pressing Darkness +
Rift's Edge is a combo that I have been trying to make work since forever but
Pressing Darkness just doesn't cut it early so I'm trying 2 copies to see how it goes. So far it's hard to find 3 targets late, so it works like a
Vara's Favor, I'm thinking maybe
Sonic Blast might be better as it could also function as a removal in an aggro matchup.
Omniscience plays really well even by itself (without a
Rift's Edge) since the curve is fairly low so each turn you try and empty your hand to draw as many cards as possible. Only two copies though since its redundant in multiples and becomes a dead card.
=== Other Ideas ===
Could swap out a few aegis sources for a
Wilderness Delivery/
Mistveil Drake market, maybe move
Omniscience to the market? but I never know what to put in there so suggestions are welcome.
or maybe lean more on the control aspect and include
Deep Freeze/
Fall to Ruin or
Hailstorm.
finally
Maul +
Wrath of Caiphus is also a cute interaction that will kill basically any opponent but I don't think its needed as its a bit too expensive to pull off.
=== Final Thoughts ===
Just make sure you have an aegis before playing
Rift's Edge/
Omniscience it is worth it to wait even if you think they may not have an answer.
If I were to rank the deck it'd be like this:
Power Level: 7/10
Fun: 9/10
but take my opinions with a grain of salt.
