I assume Bottled insight is better than Reflection or Strategize
Also feels like Rise to the challenge and Plea for Aid are too much and one of them is unnecessary.. or is it redundancy vs Bam?

Still love the deck and all the complex decisions. I have not yet delved into throne post new set release, so my points will primarily be based on the previous metagame. The worst matchups were certainly hyper aggressive decks that could also interact with us, yetis being the primary offender. The deck had a decent matchup against aggressive decks like Oni, just to contrast the interaction aspect. Another very tough one was a suppressor with vine grafter. I think the feln matchup is about even, but very difficult to navigate and needs lots of practice.

Bottled insight immediately replaced reflection, but there may be more edits to be made based on current meta and new card releases. One other card that comes to mind is life for a life, since it gives an out to having eccentric officer discarded. But at the same time, adding another influence requirement may be a mistake.

Plea and rise have decent overlap, but they also play distinct roles. Plea is a backup to reweave, as our only other way to get Kairos in play, it also costs less total power than rise. In contrast, rise can be fetched off red merchant, adds 2 attack to the First flame or a merchant you may fetch and also doesn't care if you don't have a 1 drop unit to fetch, like plra would. The redundancy also helps a lot against cards like bam, like you mentioned.

Unfortunately, I don't think that we can reduce the numbers of the two combo pieces below 3x. If anything, I could see justifications for first flame going up to 4.
The main point to consider here is that we are trying to cheat on eccentric officer's effect.
In order to do that we are looking for two strategies:
1. We need a maximize the low cost cards, likely topping off at 3 cost.
2. We need to have multiple combo pieces to increase the likelihood that at least 1 will have a good cost.

With 3x of each payoff card, it basically makes if incredibly unlikely that you don't have a well costed combo piece after playing eccentric officer. It's also not devastating when you draw one of your Kairos early. Drawing first flame early is completely fine, since kairos + 5 power is enough to hard cast it.
