Information

After playing Hooru Control for a bit I felt like updating JPS Control. 14-6 for the first two days. Might end up taking out the Bring Down in the Market. The manabase also needs work.

-21-9 to the 300s.

-Updated with Homecoming, 20-5 for first two days testing.

Chains in the market seems a bit too conditional when you're only running 8 units. Dropping your J requirement from 4 to 2 also allows you to loosen up your sigil base a bit. This deck is also fairly low on win cons, especially since there's no recursion for the SotSK's. Could use Channel the Tempests or even something like Aid of the Hooru to replace chains for the super long games.

Chains in the Market is ran almost exclusively for turning on power late game against unit-based control or grindy midrange. If you think of your cards as having a value, there's a point where power has a value of 0 - i.e. when you have enough to operate. Chains, when you are able to play 5+ power as Slays, essentially allows you to turn 1/5 of your 0 value cards into "actual" spells. It's much too powerful of an effect to not run in most Justice-based control deck imo. The unit-based aspect is mostly a side benefit. Sometimes you get to turn your spells-on-a-stick into massive beaters that put on a real clock against control but again that's mostly a side benefit to the fact that doing what I mentioned about your power is a wincon in itself against any unit-based deck since you hardly ever draw dead. As much as I love Aid Chains is probably a more powerful card even in a mostly unitless deck like this.

I have been thinking of putting in one more wincon however, so I might switch out Bring Down for an Aid or something. The meta has been aggro heavy though so I haven't decided.

Any other thoughts are appreciated.
