Since I pulled my first copy I have been in love with
Call the Ancients. I love the card and I love getting low cost big monsters, with Aegis and Endurance to boot. I have always worked to find some form or another in which I could try to make the card viable, generally with a pure Elysian approach. Once
Auric Interrogator came out I kept thinking to myself I wanted a deck that would make use him to help make
Call the Ancients viable. I've been thinking about this for a long time and been going back and forth on how exactly I wanted to do this and I came up with this deck after much tuning.
My win rate with this deck is actually very high (though I don't know the exact numbers since I haven't been recording it). This deck is very good at pulling things around out of nowhere and I have on more than one occasion almost lost a game only to have a turn or two later pulled it through for the win. This deck is not that great against any grow wide strategy, in that case that's when you'd sideboard in
Lightning Storm likely in place of
Annihilate and
Deathstrike since in a grow wide game you wouldn't need either of those too much.
Synergies
-
Xenan Initiation: This card is amazing in this deck and basically any deck that works the void. Dawnwalker's love em, Armory hate's em. Anyways in this deck this card goes great with Blistering Wasp for that spot removal and can be used in conjunction with grave revival for more shenanigans.
Copper Conduit loves it as well as that delicious overwhelm is great and when combined with reoccurring conduit is just amazing with this card. This card is also a fabulous enabler for
Auric Interrogator which helps us to draw more and be offensive, a real win win. Finally this card goes beautifully with any Ancients you may play, especially since they have Endurance and Aegis. Great card.

Haunting Scream: What can I say about this card? I love it! It's one of my favorite cards and I often try to do all sorts of fun deck brews with this card driving them as it is a great card, especially when combined with
Dark Return. This card work great with Blistering Wasp that has killer on it already, is a perfect enabler for my friend
Gorgon Fanatic which leads to a lot of card draw, and it also works on
Auric Interrogator (if he has >5 strength his ability will activate before
Haunting Scream will kill him, perfect for quick one off draws, and if he has killer this turns into a great 1-2 combo of killing something and drawing a card for only 2). Now this card is great here and all but let me tell you something else: this card absolutely SHINES when you use it with either your Ancients or the true star of the show,
Copper Conduit. This card and conduit can make for some crazy nasty two turn wins. For a Conduit in the grave you can Scream him which brings him back with Flying AND Charge, then his skill activates making him bigger and beefier, and then he dies. Use another Scream or a
Dark Return and you almost always will have game or be really close. My favorite play in this deck, it really takes people by surprise.
Basic Removal Package
Here I'm running an eclectic mix of things to deal with many different things in the meta right now. Sometimes I think it's a bit spread out but then others I think it works perfectly. I think for a first turn match the balance is great, and if you're going for a second or third match against a deck you know you can kind of tweak the numbers of the removal that works best for that deck and take away others.
-I'm running
Annihilate for a nice cheap removal of mono-faction cards which still surprisingly get played a lot (things like Sandstorm Titan, Crimson Firemaw, Predatory Carnosaur, Auric Interrogator, etc. etc.).
-
Banish is a fantastic utility spell that gets rid of both monsters and pesky relics. It kills all relics that matter (Obelisk, Crown, Chalice, lower end Armory weapons, etc.) while also giving you the utility of killing monsters less than 4 cost (which according to many Eternal statistics posted in the Reddit is a majority of creatures played) so that it never truly is dead in your hand.
-
Deathstrike is a simple no frills attached kill a creature kind of card. I love it because it's a fast spell which can allow you to play both offensively and defensively on your turn or theirs. A lot of times I find myself leading my opponent on into thinking I can't deal with a creature and they'll use weapons or other buffs to make it larger upon which I will just use this card to destroy it after. (This also works with Banish and Annihilate, though those aren't always guaranteed based on their cast conditions). Downside here is cost though, can leave you with nothing else to do on your turn which is sad, losing you valuable tempo.

Feeding Time this card is great for getting rid of any creatures you think may come back or creatures you just never want to see again (I'm looking at you
Tavrod, Auric Broker)
Other Cards
Many other cards in this deck are just basic includes to help along the deck and add consistency. 3
Seek Power to help with the tri-faction nature of the deck (I chose 3 over 4 since I'm also running 2
Vara's Favor).
Strategize is a basic auto-include with any primal deck to allow for better draw.
Xenan Obelisk is included to help enable Interrogator and to help provide pressure to the game. It's also just an incredibly good card and helps make your creatures live longer and fight harder.
You said that you have a success with this deck, which ranked tier do you mean ?
