It is going to depend on the meta, and it is too soon to tell for sure. For now you can kinda just change it w other random good SS cards and see how it works. Given that this version is a bit outdated, I would def include Eclipse drake.

Last chance vs dark return? Agree with a lot here (Vara beats BQ because no grenadin drone or assembly line) but imo return is just better. Buffs and still cheap and no voidbound.

IMO this is a preference thing. I like the tempo advantage of the free spell, voidbound basically never comes up when you have 2 copies, and the fact that I can wait until I want to play the unit before I need to make a decision. The difference is ultimatly small, and I won't fault anyone who goes the other way.

The only reason I say it is you can still do stuff like return into 4 drop on 5, return into 3 drop on 4 etc. But I can understand the desire to do up to 3 things a turn like on 5 4 drop + torch their thing + chance a 3 drop or smth. I need 3 highwaymen + queen so I might wait until after I craft my xos that I scrapped like an idiot (Temporal Control wasn't worth). But looks cool. I'd like to test a more all-in v with assembly line, grenadin drone, 3 main combusts, madness, queen the whole package, but this looks decent for a first try at stonescar aggro. I mean, it happens very often that you don't have the untapped land on turn 5, and if you have dark return, you lose a turn. idk. I've been playing last chance, I think the zero cost has been relevant more often than +1+1. and voidbound has never mattered

It's a close call. Considering that there's only 2, so yeah as you say voidbound doesn't come up, the deck has no additional ways to find power other than Rhysta and Shakedown nightfall, and that you've actually played the deck lol I'll trust your judgement on this and try last chance first.

I really like this build; it seems a lot more versatile than the more all-in versions that pretty much bank on hoping to get a Rapid Shot onto an otherwise worthless Berserk unit and then praying that you have enough reach before you run out of gas. Nice work!
