Deck focuses on stalling out using the existing Crystalline Chalice
shell, combined with Amber Ring
to smooth out bad draws. Amber Ring
also provides a bunch of cheap chump blockers early on when you have power to burn each turn but not enough pieces of your drawn engine to really get going.
A lot of games are won by casting Harsh Rule
onto a board full of 3/3 Explorers, dropping a Call the Ancients
titan and using Mating Call
to pull 2-3 more from what remains of your deck.
deals with some large threats and prevents your opponent from casting double Harsh Rule
into a board of titans.
is really versatile and deals with problem cards like Inquisitor Makto
and to some extent Icaria, the Liberator
Kothon, the Far-Watcher
is a 1-of because that's all I have at the moment. I'm never excited to play him, but I'm also never sad to see him. Still unsure what to take out if I wanted to include more.
