isnt daring pioneer a nonbo with firebombs

Hello there,
At the moment the deck is a theory craft, and I am not entirely sure how firebombs (destiny) interact with daring pioneer (triggered counterspell). I seem to recall not having the option to backlash firebombs, but I need to confirm the interaction through testing. Needless to say, if it is indeed a nonbo the pioneers will be replaced :).

ok so came across an interaction that doesnt 100% confirm it but i had an aegis and drew a firebomb and it did not block it from dealing me 5 or break my aegis. this makes me think that the pioneer will function the same way

if it turns out the way you hope it works id then look into playing sleeping draught
