So this is what I thought of when I first saw Mother of Skies. Any new card that can be dredged is an exciting card to me. Especially one that gives me more things to dredge.
Be aware that this deck doesn't quite fly yet. ironically.
The plan here is to use the extra units to go wide and outrace opponents. We are building around
Mother of Skies and
Memory Dredger.
Precision Plunge and Magestic Skies are the current MVPs.
It needs to find time influence early or it sputters right now. Even when it gets it, it is getting overwhelmed by other fliers.
If you want to collaborate with me on this deck concept or talk about gauntlet and budget decks, I'm MetaBrook+5375 on Eternal.
Besides mother of skies isn't a great card for gauntlet when the extra unit you create are worthless on it's own and require other cards to be played to be useful. Combo card that is weaker than other combos and far less reliable (even if you pull the combos off like extra card draws/wild snake out) it doesn't really do much except win games you'd normally win and lose games you'd normally lose.
Compare it with the easier to pull of shadows of the spire combo that requires 1 market card out to turn all your 8 cost legendaries into 4 cost units that win the game. (Even though it's far easier and better deck it still sucks for gauntlet due to combo decks being reliant on non horrible draws).
Less likely to get influence locked and while you lose a few good cards from time you can use cards like midnight gale, recurring nightmare(for infinite summons), dark sky harbringer which makes up for any loss of time cards. Even then it wouldn't be a 'good' gauntlet deck because mother of skies is simply not a good card.
