Vara Needs to Eat

Greetings,

Here's a fun, casual deck that I've been toying with. It's mostly centered around Vara, Death's Master. Her main targets are Umbren Reaper, Weary Spiteling, and Colossal Rodent. You could also target the merchant to pull stuff from your market, but that's not often necessary since you also have Skullmarket Delivery. Sinister Rumors is mostly used to pull Umbren or Vara from the void. The deck is meant to be sort of a control deck to give Vara enough time to be satiated. Big girl needs to eat.

A few other things to note:

- I'm not too certain about the current balance of Call The Hit and Vara's Favor. I could argue a case for adding more of both, or replacing one with the other entirely. I want other sources of power other than the power base, and maybe replacing all of the Hits to have 4 copies of Favor is best since I have plenty of other ways to remove threats.

- Star Charts is useful sometimes. It doesn't hurt to have it, but it sucks when you go first and you have 2-3 in your opening hand. I could see the case for reducing the number of copies in favor of a power card with more utility.

- The market could be improved. I like what's currently in it since it acts as a toolbox of sorts. But, something like Makkar's Stranger or Souleater Blade, or Krull, Xumuc Occultist are never bad choices.

All in all, it's a fun mono-faction deck. You might climb to gold with it. But, it's fun in casual.
