A'right we trying a 3rd version (the 2nd version being unplayable jank),
do note again that the deck is more about theorycrafting and fun then competitive viability, still memed it to master with it so i guess it work for me.
To draw we use
Auric Interrogator and
Xenan Obelisk (Bonus point for getting lifesteal from
Xenan Lifespeaker and even more if you have a
Mask of Torment in play).
We also will use
Display of Knowledge to draw the relic we need, if we were unlucky enought not to draw them.
Our goal is to stall the game long enough to get to 10+ mana and all the component we need. For that we will use
Xenan Lifespeaker ,
Learned Herbalist ,
Xenan Obelisk ,
Colony Matron ,
Mask of Torment and both Merchant.
So after stalling the game, whats our gameplan? It's simple, we stalling some more. We are trying to get 2
Eilyn, the Rising Storm and an
Ancient Excavator in our void, as well as a
Dumping Ground and
Porcelain Mask equipped. Now we just need to hit at least 10 mana so we can trigger
Dumping Ground and abuse the
Ancient Excavator summon and the fact that
Dumping Ground sac itself to boost the number of hit we can get on all of our
Eilyn, the Rising Storm by continuously repeating this combo. Even better if you get to 14 mana (thanks
Mask of Torment) you get to play
Dumping Ground and sacrifice
Ancient Excavator to reduce the ennemy stat, which will get usefull when we get to the point of playing both
Eilyn, the Rising Storm via
Dumping Ground to get their ultimate trigger + overwhelm against targets with reduced health.
Also, do not hesitate to use a
Dark Return on
Eilyn, the Rising Storm to give her lifesteal from a
Xenan Lifespeaker, or use the
Ancient Excavator +
Dumping Ground combo to get a
Eilyn, the Rising Storm ultimate trigger to clear a board or gain health and maybe mana (in the case of using one with lifesteal).
Finally, note that every time you summon
Eilyn, the Rising Storm you get 2X6 somewhat free damage (summon effect + attack) which can help keep the opponent board in check, gain health (with lifesteal) or just poke him because you can (and because you really dont like face aegis, or aegis in general).
I made the changes of removing Rindra's Choice from the market and added a Banish.
Ive also removed the 3 obelisks for 2 extra Banish, and one more Display.
Banish also is able to remove some early game minions as well so has some extra use there.
What are your opinions on this change?
But an interesting deck revision i will be doing right after this writing is and one that i do suggest to you is to cut 1 unseal, 1 dumping ground and the market rindras choice to add said market banish and the 2 extra maindeck banish. I think that the obelisk have their place in this deck, the reason is simple, the deck synergise fairly well with the obelisk. Obelisk enable draw from auric (which id tell you to cut if you removed the obelisk since we cant make them trigger), it also increase the pressure from the colony matron as well as its defensive capabilities and make every dumpping ground trigger better.
On the other hand, the ssecond dumping ground is useless, i just forgot to remove it during the transition from part 2 to 3 (part 2 didnt was FPS and therefor couldnt make use of the excavator, which meant i needed a second one in case the first got destroy, couldnt kill on first try and drawing a 1 of is harder than drawing a 2 piece). cutting the unseal seem fair since they usually sit in hand for quite a long time before being usefull, and the market rindras choice for the same reason.
