Huge shout-out to
evanescent for the list I used as the foundation for this one:

Channel the Tempest is probably my favorite card in the game, Icaria is my favorite unit in the game. I present to you the Hershey's Peanut Butter Chocolate of Eternal decks (we cracked Top100 Masters on stream tonight with it!)
Rise to the Challenge / Celestial Omen
Celestial Omen allows us to look for key cards that Rise doesn't hit, such as
Channel the Tempest, and
Harsh Rule. Celestial Omen has performed fantastically thus far, but I don't think you can justify playing a second copy.
I also think it's worth noting that the more Fast Spells you're playing, the better Celestial Omen becomes. The synergy between
Celestial Omen and
Eilyn's Choice is fantastic. Against Feln Control, you'll often find yourself holding both. You then have the option of countering an opposing Channel, or searching for your own if your opponent passes.
Sword of Icaria / Auric Runehammer
I feel that the relative power-level of the Runehammer is very swingy in this meta; it's a terrible draw against hyper-aggressive decks (because they go too wide), and also against Time-based midrange (because they go too big). Runehammer truly shines against smaller midrange decks like Combrei, Argenport, and, to some degree, Xenan. These lists still see some play on ladder, and so justifies Auric Runehammer's continued inclusion in this deck.
A single copy of Sword of Icaria is played over the third Runehammer because you can get it down earlier to hedge against the aggressive match-ups, is still relatively as impactful as Runehammer (which you usually lose next turn anyway), and gives you another incremental advantage via Warcry. This has also been performing well, and I'm considering a second copy.
I was considering Talon of Nostrix for this slot, but thought the Sword was better (you are usually casting Strategize on turn 2 if you can anyway).
Power
We're playing 28 Power and 2
Seek Power instead of the 26:4 split.
Against aggressive decks, especially when you're going second
playing on curve matters.
More Sigils means we can reliably play our answers on curve without awkwardly playing off-curve to cast Seek Power to meet our early-to-mid game Justice requirements.
Great decklist Xelbie :)
I've made some more changes and created a list and linked to yours here, let me know what you think: https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/details/C56NBtyeQSc/icarias-tempest.
