I wanted to check whether the Torq buff and the addition of Cora could bring this archetype back to meta as it seems to have gone into hiding since Valley Beyond due to big beef like Magni, which does not have quite enough good responses in these colors imo. Seems promising, but I am not sure it will be enough yet. Also, playing Serpent Hive is strictly optional here and feel free to replace it with more copies of any of the burn spells if you do not have all four. At least 2 is however the recommended number from me.

I have a relatively small sample size so far, but the deck seems nice to me. One thing I might do is either swap a couple hives for either an additional two copies of Frostburn or a couple Chirganths.

Yea, Chirganth is nice and I was running 2 copies before this, but Cora has replaced him for me completely. Even if I run into face aegis, which control decks run nowadays, Cora breaks it without having to pay Contract. Running him instead of a few Hives seems reasonable. As for Frostburn, however, I am not that much sold on it and would not play more than 2 copies, although I know that a lot of people played 4 in Skycrag Mid before, even LOA. It just seems to me that it only gets really good with Rocket Sled or Chirganth on the table and that is not a given.
