The following is based on a true story. Trigger warning: Shadow abuse.
T1 - Play
Time Symbol.
Opp. T1 - Play
Shadow Symbol.
T2 - Play
Combrei Painting,
Genetrix Irel, Wayward.
Opp. T2 - Play
Stonescar Painting,
Exploit, mouse over avatar and Irel in confusion, pass turn.
T3 - Play
Crest of Progress, play 5/6
Genetrix Irel, Wayward.
Opp. T3 - Play
Exploit again, mouse over everything, concede.
Ultimately, this is just a straightforward midrange deck cooked with an unhealthy amount of salt for the current Throne meta.
Genetrix Irel, Wayward - Hate for
Exploit,
Autotread,
Steyer's Eyes, mill, reanimator... really almost everything. Just hope your opponent doesn't play
Honor of Claws.
Teacher of Humility - Hate for card draw. What kind of sick bastard plays
Evenhanded Golem?
Sandstorm Titan - Hate for aggro and flying. Slow down and let me actually play the game please.
Ubsat the Savior,
Svetya, Lightbringer - Hate for units.
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker is more fun when she's a 4-cost vanilla 3/3 or, even better, stuck in your opponent's hand.
Thundering Kerasaur - Hate for spells. Yes,
Kira Ascending draws you a card everytime you play a spell on her, but it draws me one too.
Desert Marshal - Hate for fun in general. Card text ruins games, especially when it's attached to
Rolant, Iron Tyrant.
Evenhanded Golem - Hate for decency.
Overall, it actually works surprisingly well; I've gone 16-4 in the last 20 games with a mix of Casual and Ranked at the ~50 Masters level. The Market probably needs work.
If serious, this kind of deck is actual now and fits good in strange new meta. Weak matchups are Armory and Unitless (or any heavy cotrol).
Anyway, good work and thanks for fun!
Edited: I discovered what I won you today with SS Mid, cause I moved first and twice discarded with Exploit. Also I managed to play all my single faction shadow cards before Ubsat played so the rest was in my favor, but deck is great anyway!
