While this deck can't use
Toppletower,
Coalscrounger, or
Scrap Heap, the three cards I consider the best for my Grenadin 3 f deck, this is perfect for those who want an unorthodox deck but are new to the game.
I don't run
Tripwire Grenadin because some people might not have the campaign. If you do, you could definitely replace
Spark Hatcher with it.
Combust is good to get entomb effects off as is
Devour.
Tips:
Generally, Devour or Combust Grenadin Bellower as long as you have at least 2 units (excluding Bellower) out on the field of any strength. Why? Let's say you only have a
Disassembler and a Bellower. You devour the Bellower, but if you didn't devour Bellower, you could attack for 4 damage. That's why I recommend
Grenadin Drone and/or
Assembly Line with Bellower.
Remember you can
Torch your own units if you'd like.
Card choices:
Recycler: Good for board wipes and if you have another unit in hand to play afterwards. This and Disassembler have a lot of fun together. While any unit you play the weapon on can be Vanquished because of the attack boost, just play the Fixit when you have a ready-to-attack unit. Just hope they don't have
Eilyn's Choice.
Generally, I always run at least 28 units because while
Assembly Line gives me three units, it can be discarded through
Sabotage.
Good matchups: Still working on it... I mean, it's a Grenadin deck. Try not to expect TOO much, okay?! LOL
Bad matchups: Feln Control. Hooru Fliers. Praxis Tokens if they get their Xenan Obelisk.
Cards not put in:
Kaleb's Intervention: Sounds good, but I have assembly line for the first effect, Fixits for the second one, and none for the third one. Then again, it doesn't get rid of
Permafrost... At least an "advantage," if you will, is that there are no big units like Toppletower to permafrost, you'd only want to permafrost my
Scrap Hound cards.
Sparkbot: I could, but it's pretty weak even if it has 4 health. I could mess around with it, now that I think of it.
If you are really against the idea of
Madness, you could totally put it in! However, I find that I need Madness to get rid of pesky units like
Black-Sky Harbinger and
Worldbearer Behemoth...
Flex spots:
The number of
Rallys you put in are up to you, I'd keep at least 2 but if you wanted to go to 3 you could drop an assembly line or madness.
