My attempt to create something that's consistent and effective in the post Defiance Gauntlet. The deck plays out as a midrange deck but with as much control as I could jam into it. The plan is to try and control the board enough to get a win in various ways:
Stormtamer Operative/Kothon = 3 defense stalls low attack aggro.
Hooru Pacifier - Prevent AI using relics/weapons.
Valkyrie Enforcer - Silence, mainly flyers to remove blockers.
Unseen Commando - Life gain adds ability to survive that 1-2 extra turns needed to win the match.
Poaching Drake - Effective on all sorts of low casting cost troops, good at removing flying blockers.
Vanquish/Defiance/Finest Hour/Permafrost - Much needed removal.
Harsh Rule - reset button.
Of the 3 runs with the listed cards 2 have ended in successfully taking down Bandit Queen twice but getting stuck on 2 resources on the 'all troops start with 1 defense' boss
Gauntlet has a huge amount of variation now and it's difficult to make a deck that's as consistent as Hooru Flyers used to be. I'd love to hear any ideas on improvements as I am a newish player and this is my first deck posted.
