Started off with Ilyon's stranger sacrifice deck and felt like the stranger portion was pretty meh. Went a slightly different direction that's been performing much better for me.

Thornbeast with Shrine becomes a 7/5 lifesteal charge unit for 3, which is just the kind of additional reach this deck needs to finish off the game after a nasty board wipe. Either play a 1 cost unit and sac it or a corrupted unit hopefully still on the field.

I was also getting huge lifepoint totals so I threw in some Nahid and adjusted the power base accordingly.
