At the start of our turn, each unit on the board switches atk/hp. This mechanic doesn't have much of a synergy with most strategies. You could build a deck that has high attack units and combine quickdraw/overwhelm & pump spells, but you most likely won't be attacking 50% of the time, and the opponent has cheap removal such as
Suffocate to wreck our units in the off turns. The only way we can take full advantage of this switch is to have a consistent ramp of our units' stats.. like
Savage Stranger. Stranger tribal works great here all thanks to
Savage Stranger. If you get one or more of him on board, its only a matter of time for this fight.
Cat Burglar and
Bloodletter are generally the opponent's strongest cards against us. Save
Slay for if/when he plays
Bloodletter on a unit.
Unseal is very necessary to prevent a blowout like
Finest Hour. There is an argument to switch
Suffocate with
Torch, in which case switch out a couple
Feln Stranger with
Skycrag Stranger. I just felt the shadow influence was more important to play
Savage Stranger on curve. Good luck and have fun!
My campaign decks are all designed to be cheap and easy for new players. Check them out!
