With set 3, it finally feels like
Wump, Party Starter can be a thing. He's still not going to blow any minds, but this list did get me to masters (not that it's particularly difficult to do with aggro lists in general.)
Your main tricks for sneaking in damage late game are
Cinder Yeti,
Pummel, and
Jotun Punter. Punter in particular can serve as a surprise finisher with any other decent Yeti already on board.
The meta right now is rife with Sentinels, so
Polymorph is an unfortunate must. Not entirely unrelated to said Sentinels, we're seeing a lot of Relics right now. Also, curses are much more of a thing now, and even Armory seems to be popular again. Thus,
Ruincrawler Yeti. (Bonus synergy when you play him with a Wump on your board.)
I generally pilot like standard Skycraggro pushing in unit damage wherever I can in the first 3-4 turns. The course from there depends on the opponent. I think the late game choice of going aggro with the Wump pump (featuring his cousin
Iceberg Warchief) or focusing on staying alive long enough to burn face (potentially also featuring the Warchief) is what gives the list legs.
