This Deck is my version of a variant of

I enjoyed playing this deck because there are many possible decisions and interactions with your opponent. Cleverness in spotting unusual plays is rewarded.
How to Win:
The most common way to win is swinging into your opponents face with some combination of
Champion of Cunning,
Thunderstrike Dragon, and
Black-Sky Harbinger. In the end, you will have more units in your hand than your opponent has removal, especially if you can clone
Thunderstrike Dragon with
Second Sight. It was common for me to play out a
Jotun Hurler,
Umbren Reaper,
Yetipult, or
Feln Bloodcaster mostly hoping the opponent would spend cards dealing with them.
I got to Master for the first time using this deck. It was a fairly quick climb to Diamond 1, and I got stuck going about 50-50 for a few days until I managed to break through. On ladder I was facing a huge variety and it was important to be able to pop Aegis on the little and big units and on the opponent's face, and also kill little aggro units, which these "Ping" cards helped with:
Jotun Hurler's Snowball
Yetipult
Vara's Favor
Black-Sky Harbinger
Lightning Storm
Against aggro, these cards, along with
Permafrost allow you to stall and pretend you don't have
Hailstorm in your hand, in hopes that the opponent will unload his or her hand onto the board for you to then play Hailstorm.
Against control and midrange decks, we have plenty of removal in
Permafrost and
In Cold Blood. And the occaisional ping + one or two
Hailstorms.
Rain of Frogs can also disrupt their hands. I had one opponent play his
Rally on my turn in response to my Rain of Frogs, effectively removing it from his hand so that I couldn't transform all of his Rallys into frogs. Even though this happened, at least my opponent's strategy was clear which made me count damage every turn. I generally didn't use
Rain of Frogs to target
Harsh Rule even if there were two of them. Most of the time I picked a different card because I felt like, "if the opponent spends 5 mana to wipe the board, over and over that's fine." If an opponent plays Harsh Rule plus another card against one Champion of Cunning, that's good value.
Similarly, if an
Argentport Cow opponent plays
Sabotage, or another Feln player plays their own
Rain of Frogs, you can counter with your own fast
Second Sight to get it out of your hand and also move important cards out of your hand and onto the top of your deck.
In your
mulligans you are looking for power and ways to get power or draw more cards. Even an opening hand of two power plus Vara's Favor doesn't seem like enough, but you might want to keep that just to avoid redrawing into something worse. Keeping an opening hand with just two Crests, hoping to scout for power did not go well.
At first I didn't understand the value of
Strategize, but later on I realized that it allows you to:
+ redesign your hand to match your opponent
+ toss away duplicate cards that it doesn't help to have 2 of
+ dig for power and other needs
