Went 21-3 with minor variations on this (I changed a few cards around between each run). Torgov's Trading Post is absolutely busted when you can play it on turn 1 and tutor for the titans with Crownwatch Press-Gang. The highest value Twinning Ritual possible is to cast it on a Press-Gang with Killer and Destiny (in hand due to Safe Return) but it usually feels strong just casting it on whatever unit you have available.

My runs were:
7-1: Absolutely terrible play against another alessi deck
7-0
7-2: A game of power flood sitting on 11 power vs haunted highway at 5 and getting out valued by a Hooru fliers deck due to no Titans drawn and apparently Poaching Drake and Eilyn, Clan Mother are stronger than 2/2 Awakened Students.

I later tried a version that leaned into the dinosaur synergy and that was not a good idea at all. For the less aggressive evolution of this deck that attempts to improve consistency using more card draw and influence fixing see Long Live the Titan. I believe part of my success with this particular version is that decks were worse in the wild west of the beginning of the event. I only put Avisaur Patriarch in for my third run because I had yet to realize I could put Call the Ancients in.

Good deck, helped me to rank 20 even though I had to make quite a few changes. Bad cards are still bad even for 1 mana less, e.g. long live the queen. It's better to play great cards that become awesome, e.g. 4x equivocate. And I never needed the Patriarch in 20 games so put in 4 extra green merchants with vanquish and vanq blade.

I'm going to have to heavily disagree that Long Live the Queen falls into the bucket of "bad cards that are still bad". That's an accurate assessment for Patriarch but card draw is at a premium in a format of cost reductions. Queen's great when hitting cheap spells like Scream, Display of Ambition, or Rindra's Choice and becomes an absurd amount of value if you warp it. This format is filled with strong spells and having other strong fast cards allows you to leave the power up to cast it. That said it's definitely a dead card sometimes (especially against Rakano) and 3 is still a much more awkward counterspell cost than 2. It's not vital to the deck's success and part of the allure is its lack of play but just writing it off strikes me as blindly following popular.

I found Equivocate to be worse in this format than expected because your opponent frequently has enough power left over to play whatever was returned to their hand and as long as it's not absolute garbage you've just lost card advantage. You usually need to use removal early in the game and it's much worse than torch at dealing with most early game minions. I also think FJS and Rakano aggro were very underrepresented at the start of the event. My follow up version of this deck does indeed main deck Equivocates but it also runs more card draw so that you can actually take advantage of the cheap cost.

If you're saying you added 4 Winchest Merchants I don't follow that reasoning at all.
Gaze73 Eternal Version: 1.42.3
Guess it depends on the meta, which can change every few hours in such a short event. I kept running into rakano which had barely any spells except torch. Equivocate is good enough because random 2 and 3 drops can't even attack against your established board of Alessi, Students or Record Keepers(I ran 4x).

What's so surprising about 8 merchants? It's pretty standard since the smugglers arrived. Basically the first 2 smugglers usually grabbed Equivocate and/or Evolution so I rarely had the chance to play the game-winning Sword. With 4 winchest merchants I had the sword whenever I wanted, and I could put it right on the merchant to get a 5/5 flyer. And of course vanq and blade are useful in every matchup. Also, twinning ritual+hatchling makes a lot of cards to trade with.
Knifebloom Eternal Version: 1.42.3
I think I would rather main deck a full set of Swords than run 3 cost 2/2s especially with only 4 echo cards in the deck. I definitely understand cutting Queen for the Rakano match up though.
eNgage Eternal Version: 1.42.3
I went 0-3, all against Rakano. Even with turn 1 sites, I was unable to hold against Rakano.
ThousandMoods Eternal Version: 1.42.3
I also went 0-3 with this deck. I was mana screwed in my first game and got mana flooded in a second. My thrid game was against Haunted Highwayman, it was close but I lost. I drew 0 Crownwatch Press-Gang in 3 games. Very disappointed :(

2nd run: 3-3
3rd run: 6-3

Damn, I suck :(
CleverFire Eternal Version: 1.42.3
This deck is absurd. Easy 7-0 and none of the games were particularly close. Great job.
